Dear Friends:
While I share the upset at the ubiquitous use of a feeding bottle to
symbolize anything connected to a baby, I don't get angry at the folks who
did it.
They don't have the awareness or the consciousness to realize what they are
doing. It will take a long time for there to be a universally used symbol
with the same power as the bottle. Even the international breastfeeding logo
doesn't represent 'baby' or 'baby activity' to most people. I explain to
people what the blue logo means whenever I use it in classes.
We are still swimming upstream....
