Barbara,
So delighted she is doing well!!! This may not apply specifically, and my children never went to school, so I do not have that particular experience. But, I nursed three children for a total of 16 years, so we went a lot of places while nursing. I never once asked permission to bring a nursing infant anywhere. I just took them and assumed it was normal and behaved as if it was. I will not say I never received a nasty glare, but who cares? I was never asked to leave anywhere and I always stepped out when appropriate if they cried. As to the school issue--it really annoys me that this is such a common theme in schools. They do seem to think they are exempt from all the laws, though. Maybe that is the next frontier, bc they sure are colluding with the artificial feeding behemoth, aren't they?
