I posted this at the end of last week and didn't get any responces so I was hoping by reposting maybe someone knew the answer.
I have searched their website and can't find the information that i am looking for so I am hoping maybe one of you may know the answer.
In regards to the Perinatal Care Core Measure on Exclusive Breast Milk Feeding one of the exceptions to exclusive breastfeeding is taking certain medications. There is a small list of medications but there is no resource guide to all the medications or who rates the medications as contradictive such as AAP/Dr. Hale.
Does anyone know where the list or what reference they use?

As a follow up from last week. I did write to them and ask this question but there response was basically coping and pasting so i didn't get any in depth answer. This was what I got....
" * Taking certain medications, i.e., prescribed cancer chemotherapy, radioactive isotopes, antimetabolites, antiretroviral medications and other medications where the risk of morbidity outweighs the benefits of breast milk feeding
My question is what are the other medications and who makes the determination?
