What would be the standard of care for a healthy 35 week, asymptomatic infant
with a glucose of around 42 at 9 hours of age? I would be interested in knowing
how this differs from institution to institution. I would also be interested in
knowing the evidence behind colostrum being contraindicated (due to low volume,
even though all the sources I can find support using colostrum) as a supplement
(if it is even needed), and evidence supporting why at breast supplementation is
contraindicated (due to energy expenditure being cited as more for bf than
bottle, even though I found this supporting basically equivalent energy
expenditure

I know I must be missing something, and would like more information. And yes, I
have read the ABM protocol.
