My hair went from straight to curly in late adolescence and more so after my first pregnancy, and has stayed curly ever since, except for the year after the birth of my last child - it was straight for that year. But went back to curly after that year even though I did not stop breastfeeding him.

My oldest daughter's hair also went from straight to curly when she became a teenager.
