> I wondered if Baby Friendly designated hospitals allow the "Newborn
Channel" to be one of the TV channels offerings. (This is not a public
broadcast, rather an "educational service" on the maternity unit TV, paid
for by the hospital on subscription basis.) It is Gerber/Nestle sponsored.
One of the shows offered is called "Infant Feeding" which is entirely about
bottle feeding formula. In both English and Spanish ...
My understanding is that BFHI hospitals cannot teach bottle feeding
routinely.
Does anyone have the Newborn Channel in their BFHI maternity services? Does
BFHI look out for that in its inspections?
