A group of us have been working on NICU specific policies and one of our group remembers hearing at a conference something to the effect of 'if breastmilk isn't completely thawed it can be re-frozen'
She believes the speaker was Diane Spatz from Children's Hospital of Philiadelphia ...
so, is anyone else familiar with this practice?
is there a reference for this?
or
If Diane Spatz is part of this group, could you please contact me off list?
or
if someone knows how to contact her please let me know (off list)?
Thanks All,
Jodie in D.C.
who changed every single breast-milk and breast-feeding to non-hyphened words in this version of the policy
