Dear all:
I was skimming in June and wasn't aware of this topic. I called the number provided by Abbott two days ago and was sent to a lactation consultant at Lifecare, or at least she said she was a consultant and asked if the consultants were board certified. She said some were certified and some weren't and her hemming and hawing made me suspect that she herself wasn't board certified. I didn't ask for names of who were the board certified lactation consultants who had agreed to working for Abbott (if it is even true that they did manage to get board certified lactation consultants to agree to this completely and totally unethical conflict of interest). How can any company demand such a ridiculous breach of ethics of their employees? It is truly disgusting.
Sincerely,
Susan E. Burger
