Sorry- I forgot to add that I believe I was the women in question posting years back- it happened about 4 years ago that I got it.  Also to add, all medical professionals I spoke to and all IBCLC's I spoke to at the time had said they never heard of it passing to the mothers nipples.  Unfortunately I am living proof that it can happen in mothers.  My guess is that most mothers don't get it because they've already built an immunity to that particular virus and I hadn't built that immunity.
