A staff member mentioned yesterday that she was finding that so many of our mothers on anti hypertensives have sleepy babies who were refusing to feed. May I use the articles you provided so show her that she seems to have made an interesting observation as far as mothers and babies having difficulty with breastfeeding. Like the chicken or egg- which came first. It may be the medical condition of hypertension and  that the placenta has suffered or the medication eg methydopa. Is it the baby who is sleepy or the supply that is initially low?
