I think you will find a big difference in frequencies between non-medicated and 


medicated infants.  I recently read the studies on intake for the first few days.


Some don't include primips and some had every 4 hours feeding routines.


Ask the midwives who help mothers give birth with minimal or no medications


how many times these infants feed.   Its likely that moms with hospital births


need to start pumping to ameliorate the effects of a hospital births with separation, epidurals, inductions


and augmentations.
