I apologize in advance if I can not ask this question.
I have reading thru the posts. I was planning on taking the IBCLC exam in 2012.  So I am reading on the website regarding the changes.

Unless I am totally mis understanding, please correct me if im wrong. 
Unless I have a college degree and or a medical/professional degree I can not take the exam?! If this is true I am devastated!  I have been a LLL Leader for 14 years. But it appears this will be useless without a degree of some sort. I was going to take it this year but ....having a preemie and all his needs prevailed.

Please feel free to email me I do not want to clogged this list with my questions....
