Look how sick is sick?
~~ I second Ibolya. First and foremost I protect the new family, no longer
how long that takes. Right now I have a sinus infection's tail end, and
haven't seen anyone since Friday myself. For those new moms who have called
wanting an initial consult ( actually it's all been dads, but whatever...:),
I've helped in whatever way I can on the phone, and made sure they have #
of local IBCLCs who serve where they live, in case they need a visit before
I feel safe in going. I encourage them to call one of these professionals
even if I spent time with them on the phone, when time is critical. For
former clients checking in, so far I've been able to get updates and give
support and do some brainstorming without having to see them in person.
Hopefully I will be back to work in a day or so. If not, that's how it goes...
Peace,
Judy
