The response to the UK article suggesting that not introducing solid foods earlier than 6 months may be harmful has not died down. The only "formal" response I could find was the one already posted here on LACTNET by UNICEF UK, http://www.babyfriendly.org.uk/items/item_detail.asp?item=680 (this response seems weak to me and does not necessarily alleviate the confusion for parents).
I have been unable to find any other published responses to the article (from AAP, AABM, CDC, WHO, or UNICEF international). Is anyone else aware of any rebuttals?
Thank you,
