If her tissue is indeed involuted this would be a case of relactation. For
relactation medication to improve prolactin levels can be helpfull. The
mother would stil be off balance because the fuller breast would also be
stimulated.
When the mother succesfully stimulates the breast after involution would
there be regulare mature milk on that side again? Or would it still be
salty?
