Indeed, I talk about this a lot when I talk with HCPs and others about
use
of banked milk. We also make it very clear that our goal is always to
have
the mother nursing her own baby whenever possible. Ideally, banked
milk should be used to supplement mothers' milk until her full supply
comes in.

All milk banks in North America pasteurize milk, this is true of milk
banks
in Brazil and most if not all of Europe as well. ANyone from other milk
banks know otherwise? Please let us know.
