Does anyone know if it is common for milk banks to accept milk that has been expressed and stored 'previous' to a donor initiating contact? Meaning if a mother has been expressing and storing, and for whatever reason has milk in abundance of what her infant will require, and then contacts a milk bank after some time to inquire about donation is it feasible that they might use her previously expressed milk?
