i recall an example mentioned in 'nursing your baby' by karen and gale
pryor of a nurse in a foundling hospital (possibly in france in the
early 1800's/late 1700's?) who exclusively bf'ed 5 infants ( i think
only one was hers). let me know if you want me to find my copy and
search for the reference, i have used it often to encourage mothers
facing tandem nursing w/ doubts!
