I only have a 2003 Red Book at home.  It says transmission of Hep C via 
breastmilk is theroretically possible, but has NEVER been documented.  Maybe 
someone can get their hands on the latest Red Book.  Buescher & Hatcher, 
2008 "breastfeeding and Disease" says basically says same.  AAP says it is 
not a contraindication.  Mom does need information to make decision.  Pat in 
SNJ
