When pumping, I found that I had dried milk on my nipples after every
session. I suppose because the baby licks it off and basically cleans
your nipple at the end of the feed, and the pump doesn't. After a
while I got tired of it staining my bra, and started drying it with a
cloth after each feed. Even that wasn't really good enough, I needed
a damp cloth followed by a dry one to really get rid of the last drops
of milk. Definitely something that never happened with my breastfed
babies.
