Thank you for the suggestions. I hadn't thought about distinguishing what kind of mammals.......excellent point. I have Diane's Wiessinger's handout "your baby the mammal" and I was justing thinking about how to add it to the class. Now I will distinguish the mammals further. Terry Klein also suggestion the Self -attachment video - which I don't always use because of time - and they often see it in childbirth classes (I like to show Dr. Smillie and Follow me Mum DVD's) - but I was thinking of starting the class after introductions with this video and then going into the mammal discussion.......just feeling like parents get the message about how good breastmilk is - and want to do something different to help them get it more from a "we are made to breastfeed and be breastfed" perspective.
Your exercises sound interesting - I will think on them more - you are right it would have to be quite scripted.......but could be interesting!
