Hi Christina
Can I suggest you involve a speech pathologist? I think all the pulling
on the teat is contributing to this as you have pointed out. Perhaps a
Haberman feeder would also help.
A supply line to feed the baby on the breast may work.
This baby will end up orally defensive if care is not taken.
One possible problem is the baby may have some cerebral irritation. I
have seen this with spastic cerebral palsy.
