Hmmmmm.

There are many questions to ask here, aren't there?!

What was the norm for sodium, potassium and other electrolytes which
they used as a baseline for comparison?

Why would a lack of these elements prevent the baby from gaining
weight, indeed, cause the baby to lose weight so spectacularly and
scarily?

A 24 hour accumulated sample  is what? Samples from various times of
the day and night?

If it is really thought the mother's milk is lacking in qualities to
this extent - that it caused the baby to lose weight  and dehydrate
to the point of what sounds like near-death - why on earth is the
baby having any of this dangerous substance at all, let alone basing
50 per cent of his/her nutrition on it?
