Dear Friends:
I am regularly solicited by business to carry products. I receive telephone
calls, emails, and samples in the mail. Here is a letter that I wrote in
response to one of these unrequested solicitations. I offer it as a model
for anyone to modify or use.
===========================================================================================================================
"Thank you for leaving a telephone massage and for sending an email. From
what you wrote, it sounds like you are doing work that you love. Wonderful!
I do not recommend nor endorse any product from anywhere. I demonstrate many
breastfeeding aides and devices and also offer alternatives to expensive
products. (Like a $1 feeding tube to make a supplemental nursing system.) I
am not linked with any one company.
I feel that the marketing of new mothers with products for nursing and for
their babies has gotten out of hand. I seek to give my clients shelter from
the commercial world so they can focus on themselves and on their babies."
