There's some research on hospital grade pumps, but there's little
comparing brand to brand. I reviewed what there is in Selecting and
Using Breastfeeding Tools (Hale, 2009), and Marsha Walker did the same
in Breastfeeding Management for the Clinician: Using the Evidence (Jones
and Bartlett). Much of it is spin, and quite a bit is set up to make the
pump look good, so read the original studies, and read them carefully.
