Hi Lisa,
Yes, you would want to wean off the Maxalon slowly and there could be a
rebound drop in supply with the abrupt withdrawal but it sounds to me like
the core issue is ineffective removal and working on that should be the
priority. If she is going to need a pharmaceutical galactogogue long term
then Domperidone (Motillium) would be preferable. Dosage 30-60mg/day.  Info
