That was my reaction, too, Ibolya.
I found this story to be utterly heart-breaking.
It is meant to be up-lifting, , by the tone of the report, but it
reminds me of the 19th century Western practice (happened at many
other times and places, too, including Roman times) of taking poor
mothers away from their babies to live with the upper classes in
order to be a wet-nurse.
