My experience as an American is that we kiss our babies ON the lips not IN
the mouth (as Jeanette wrote).  Is this what you mean or would it have the
same effect.
Chayn - an American born Israeli IBCLC who only stops kissing her children
on the lips when they decide that it is yucky.
