There's one big difference between baby carriers and cosleeping,
however. Many families cosleep (to whatever extent) and then don't tell
their doctors. or perhaps anyone else who might not understand. This
kind of 'hiding' won't work with babywearing, because it's by nature
something done in public. I don't know if this will help avoid such
warnings, because it will be obvious that people are doing it safely, or
if it will add the the effectiveness of such warnings.
