Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your responses. I am sorry it was not very clear. I was
trying a new way of typing it up, which looked good on my computer, but was
not as pretty by the time it made it onto Lactnet.

She is trying to dry up. The baby chewed up her nipples so badly, she is
afraid to put her back on and go thru mastitis again.

Her main concern is to dry up in such a way as to not cause any damage to
the ductal system, so that she can have a good experience with the next kid.
(hopefully wouldn't have HELLP syndrome etc) I was concerned about the
plugs, as she has had them for so long, I worried about calcification ???

I think the next best step would be ultrasound and am going to recommend
that. Also, now that she isn't on so many medications, maybe her doctor
would agree to the lecithin.

Thank you again for your responses!
