...and what makes the Army of Women even better (so sign up, everyone!) is
that one of the featured breast cancer research projects uses breastmilk
samples!

Dr. Kathleen Arcaro at the University of Massachusetts uses breastmilk
samples to detect changes in breast cells, with the goal of identifying
molecular biomarkers for breast cancer.  It may also lead to a far less
invasive method of detecting breast cancer (through breastmilk, rather than
biopsy), which may mean fewer disruptions to breastfeeding.

Right now she's recruiting nursing moms anywhere in the country who have
had, or are expecting to have a breast biopsy.  Participants provide a
