The study says:
"There's a very well-established case to say nursing reduces ear infections,
reduces gastrointestinal problems and has a positive immune effect," said
Goldin. "But I felt most of the other claims are really controversial."

I say: 
Even if that was all the benefit there was (and I KNOW there's more than that), isn't that reason enough? 
Even just  a "positive immune effect" can make a lifetime of difference, as it relates to the development of autoimmune diseases and those that may be initiated by immune system dysfunction,  such as multiple sclerosis, Type I diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Lupus. These diseases are on the rise, and we're not sure why. But if there's even a chance to prevent a lifetime of difficulty, isn't it worth it?
