I can share some myths that are popular in my country - a women who runs a fever should not bf because the milk gets sour. The same supposedly happens if the mother is on the beach.

There is a very interesting one also that affects bf after separation of mom and baby and relactation - an older baby who did not bf for a greater lenght of time (more than 24 hours) should not be breastfed again. If mom does, the baby will have "evil eyes" when he or she grows up (meaning that he or she will be able to inflict bad things on the others with his eyes, for instance cause bad luck, make babies sick etc).
