Ok, folks, these are all over the place. In the US there are regulations about medical devices from the aftermath of the Dalkon Shield intrauterine device scandal. These shields will have to have been tested and found acceptable if they are being sold - and I can't believe that is possible.
On the Finnish website Sanna-Mari Tonteri posted about, there were two pages of breastfeeding aids, including Pigeon pumps, and this one: http://www.pedihealth.fi/product_details.php?p=520
If you view the other products shown you will see that the nipple extractor is also sold here, so this site offers the double whammy for nipple abuse.
Please report the appearance of this item to whoever it is in your country who monitors consumer affairs or medical devices or just advertising fraud.
