One thing I remember from when I had my first 44 years ago was that we were given 2 washcloths each day, a blue one and a white one.  The Blue one was for Breasts and Bottom (B so we stupid new moms could keep them straight) and white for the rest of your body.  The implication seemed to be  that what came from out of your breasts was equivalent to what came out of your bottom!  No wonder some moms thought breastfeeding was gross!
