Amen Jenny! BTDT myself 2x (but only for a few months each time) with
relactating and both times for toddlers+. Even though I am a fabulous hand
expressor (modest too) I needed the pump for maintaining high prolactin
levels and I found it very restricting (eg I cannot be at X all day because
there is no power) and was also aware of the time it took from my "babies".
I cannot imagine needing to express and bottle feed a newborn for all feeds
long term.
Then you know, those selling pumps do not need mothers to do it long term,
they just need them to start (ie buy the pump).
