In a survey of teen & 'tween girls:

"From 10% to 20% said they thought caffeine, antiperspirants, or
getting bumped or bruised in the breast were causes. According to 7%,
breastfeeding increased the risk of breast cancer. None of these are
known to increase the risk of developing a breast tumor."

7% is a small number, but I still find it worrisome that some girls
think BF increases the risk of breast cancer.

And why, oh why, did the article fail to mention that BF actually
REDUCES the risk? Instead of just including it with caffeine,
antiperspirants, etc. as things that are not "known to increase the
risk." (Which could imply that there is a possibility that they could
increase the risk of breast cancer, but we just don't know it yet.)
