Well said Morgan!
When teaching classes, I often used the following analogy (particularly in basebll season):
Breastfeeding is like starting at bat with 3 balls already on your side-you can still strike out, but you have a better chance of getting on base.  Not breastfeeding is like starting with 2 strikes against you.  You could still hit a home run, but you have a greater chance of not getting on base.  Breastfeeding doesn't guarantee you "Mother of the Year" and not breastfeeding doesn't mean you will automatically have child protective services at your door.  But the hormones and interaction of breastfeeding give you an edge.  
It certainly isn't a perfect analogy, but the dads seem to relate to it.
