I get the digest form of this, so I am hoping that I am replying the
right way.

I just wanted to say that a lot of the times, from my experience, the
positioning is very important when a baby wants to suck on just the
nipple. Sometimes just s shift of baby's body where the head is
straight in, makes a big difference. I'm sure you have already tried
this, but thought I would go ahead and mention it. I know that if the
head is even very slightly angled to toward the side, it will cause
the baby to slide off the areola.

My first time to answer. I have been helping couples with
breastfeeding for about thirty years now.
