The stars are drops of milk from Hera's breast, radiating out across the
heavens... hence, the Milky Way.
(Hera's Milk was the Milk of Gods, thus Zeus sneaked his love-child,
Heracles (Hercules) into Hera's sleeping chamber, and silently attached
the child, so it would receive the Milk of a Goddess, and divine powers
from thus. Hera woke up, and was a tad pissed. But that's another
story. :-) )
My thanks to Carl Sagan for a childhood of wonderment and awe,
concerning the heavens...
