Fenugreek is in Dr Thomas Hale's book "Medications & Mother's Milk". He doesn't give it a pregnancy rating; however, there is one line that says that a stimulant effect was observed in a guinea pig so I suspect that is why it would be considered contraindicated. I believe I've read elsewhere about concerns that it could cause contractions. So personally I would not recommend Fenugreek to a pregnant mother. There are other options.
