Dear Friends:
Mention was made that the baby in question "does great with a bottle other
than milk coming out the sides of her mouth."
Maybe this baby can't sustain a seal? Maybe the clicking is reflective of
some other compensatory mechanism? What about measuring the baby's vital
signs during a feed, particularly respiratory rate? Has anyone listened to
the baby's neck during feeds?
My vote is for a full assessment by an infant feeding specialist.
