It was my pleasure to attend the seminar at Northwester University's Prentice Women's Hospital in Chicago yesterday.   Along with two of his graduate students from the University of Western Australia, Dr. Hartmann told about all the fascinating research they are doing in the realm of breastfeeding and the raminifications for clinical practice.  I learned a lot, even finding the explanation of why my new granddaught struggled to gain weight in her first month of life.  I want to express my appreciation to the speakers and their sponsors.   It was a great day for the breastfeeding community and I met many professionals from all over the midwest.
