Permission to post....mom of 7 1/2 month old exclusively breastfeeding, had introduced cereal at 6 months and baby had allergic reaction of runny note and stuffiness. Mom has chosen to delay other solids at this time. She is asking if there are any consequences of not giving solids now. Besides discussing concerns with pediatrician, is there any other information I can give? I have read that many women choose to delay solids for longer than 6 months and the baby is fine, but there can be concerns about anemia....Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
