Dean Edell comments on a baby doll that *nurses.* He invites others to
comment too.

My comments:

>While I am thrilled about the idea of promoting breastfeeding to children, I have reservations about this product.
 - Babies nurse from breasts, not from flowers stuck onto clothing!
Little girls who watch their mamas nurse know how to lift their shirts
to position their baby dolls.
 - Why promote the idea that it hurts to nurse? Breastfeeding is
supposed to feel good. Pain is a sign that something is wrong (often a
poor latch) and needs to be fixed.
 - The doll's mouth is not open wide enough to get a good latch. If we
are going to make such a toy, let's at least make it realistic. After
all, the manufacturers had no problem making the boy doll anatomically
correct.<
