I don't' have the resources at my fingertips but I remember hearing at
the ILCA conference 3 years ago that this "razor sharp" biting can be a
precurser to reflux later on. My daughter had 2 children with severe
reflux and could not figure out why.  

any idea if this might work the other way round?
was talking to a  mother at the weekend whose baby  had been diagnosed with  silent reflux [eventually] and had  recently started biting her badly [ sometimes she said it actually  triggered a let down which she found strange] and he had [at 7 mths] just bitten her so badly that she was covered in blood -  very nasty.  Never heard of anything so bad before
