Linda, I know it wasn't you who set the mother off on this
complicated road of pumping, weighing, medicating and so on :)
Mothers do things themselves for all sorts of reasons...not all of
them wonderful or logical ones!

She needs to know that her weighings may not be telling her what's
actually happening, though, and that knowing this (possibly
unreliable) information may not help her breastfeeding in any
way....:(
I agree, she needs to wean herself off the scale.
