The Code is about ETHICAL MARKETING, not the inherent value / importance of
the products themselves. Remember that many nations have put the Code into
Law. Formula companies can still market their products under the Code - they
only have to market their stuff ETHICALLY. I've been told by LCs in
Code-enforcing countries that the formula companies tattle on one another
when one starts edging toward unethical marketing practices!
Unethical marketing is cheating.
