hi all
i spent 6 weeks volunteering with an NGO in sierra leone this past winter,
and many of the traditional birth attendants we were training were shocked
to find out that having sex while breastfeeding did not mean the baby was
going to drink sperm!!!
other then that there was alot of talk about giving water and solids to the
baby starting at a very early age, which can be especially dangerous in an
environment without the cleanest water sources.
