I am finally going to make the transition from NON RN IBCLC to RN IBCLC. What do I do if the nursing instructor teaches something that is not true about breastfeeding? We have all heard the breastfeeding for 10 min on each side or wake the baby every 2 hours around the clock or keep the baby wrapped vs skin to skin because we don't want the baby cold. etc. etc. Any suggestions? I don't mean to assume that the information presented is going to be inaccurate but what if it is?
